Scrimmage with La Clery Senior District Team

Valley Soccer Club has been invited to play La Clery Senior District team at the La Clery Playing Field at 4:30pm on Thursday May 28, 2015. This friendly is part of La Clery Senior District team’s preparation for the Quarter Final Round of the SLFA Heineken Fantasy Football tournament.

SLFA Northern Zone Club U-23 Final

Valley Soccer Club will face Sunrisers FC in the 3rd place play-off of the SLFA Northern Zone Under 23 Club tournament.

The game is scheduled for the Gros Islet Playing Field at 3:00pm on Sunday December 14, 2014.

Valley Soccer Club lost to Northern United in the semis finals after winning Group 2 in the preliminary round. The Orangemen were undone by the lads from Gros Islet after fielding a team with 3 of their key starters. After going down 4 goals in the space of 10 minutes during the latter part of the first half, the Orangemen held their nerve and were much more improved in the second half as they stuck to their zonal defense and avoided letting in further goals. For their part the Orangemen had their opportunities, but inaccurate shooting and a stern Northern United defense led by GK Castor earned NU a clean sheet.

Northern United will now face NYAH in the finals immediately following the 3rd place play-off.

All supporters of the ORANGEMEN are asked to show up at the Gros Islet Playing Field for 3:00pm on December 14, 2014.
